The Rowland Institute, founded by Dr. Edwin H. Land, provides an interactive, interdisciplinary environment to support innovative experimental science and engineering. The Rowland Junior Fellowship program was developed in keeping with Dr. Land's vision to support innovative research. We especially welcome research on unexplored ideas that may lead to new directions in a field. The Rowland Fellowship provides laboratory space, funding for equipment, personnel, and general operations. Staff scientists and engineers work with the Fellows to design and fabricate new experiments.
