Dr. Samuel Sanders, Congreve Lab, awarded 2019 Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellowship

Dr. Samuel Sanders, a postdoctoral fellow in the Congreve Lab, has been awarded the prestigious Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellowship which provides $90,000 of annual support over 2-3 years. Working under the supervision of Dr. Dan Congreve, Sam will use this funding to study photon upconversion, an excitonic process that converts low energy light to higher energy light, with a focus on applications in biological imaging and solar energy harvesting.
